The majority of viewers for this film were males between the ages of 18-29. This most likely due to the violent nature again, as bloodthirsty creatures try to destroy a town.

The Devil's Backbone

The majority of viewers of this film were males between the ages of 30-44. This may be due to the time period it is set, as war seems to be an interest amongst males as it depicts violence and terror.

The Descent

The Descent, unlike the previous three, has a wider female audience, due to the casting of female characters. However, the male gaze comes into play and still leaves the film with a mass majority of male viewers between 30-44, as the film would be seen from a male perspective.

Shaun Of The Dead

Shaun Of The Dead has an overwhelming majority of male viewers between 18-29. This is probably due to the casting as they would be recognisable by a younger generation, as well as the humour, which is more relatable to this audience.

Pans Labyrinth

Pans Labyrinth has again, a wider male audience between 18-29. It is again, set after a war and has a dark theme throughout, which could appeal to males as this is typical of horror and is more likely to provide a scare.
